- 1987 - The cinema is knocking. Film’s language entered into Albania between roads that Albanians had created from centuries with their continent.
- 1903 - The firsts shooting in Albania, by the foreign company. Few yers after, brothers Manaki, in Manastir kept the balance of the camera in different Balkans counties.
- 1908 – Kolë Idromeno (1860-1939), painter, architect and town-planner with an erudite culture, in 1883 sets up a laboratory in Shkodra, called “Driteshkronja Idromeno” (100 years Albanian cinematography, A Hoxha) and in year 1908, begins to organize the show of dias and films.
- 1909 - Brothers Çomo begins to organize first public screenings at the theatre hall of Manastir, a small multicultural city on the Ottoman Empire.
- 1911 - The first screenings begin in the coffee shop Stema of Korça.
- 1912 - The year of Albanian Independence on November 28. It exists in Italian language a contract of Nikolë Idromeno (Kolë Idromeno) with the distributor, representatives of an Austrian company, Josef Stauber, signed on 1 September 1912, which marks a long history of distribution of the world cinematography, and will give to Albania its masterpieces.
- 1912 – 1920 - First amateur camera and the first stars. Suddenly near to the world big names of the screen, the Albanian people discover the presence of the Albanian actors that play in foreign movies as Aleksander Moisiu, Kristaq Antoniu, Elena Qirici.
- 1920 – 1938 - The vast private distribution. Albanian distributors, Daragjati, Canco, Beshiri created on 1938 “Shqiptaro-film” distribution. The agreement says that 9 feature should be shown every week in Tirana city and other cities, three of them comics.
- 7 April 1939 - Occupation and the first state monopolization. Since October 2, 1939, the first monopolization, an agreement signed between the National Entity of the Cinematographic Industry centered in Rome, represented by the general director Armando Boncaglia, represented the National Cinematographic Center in Rome and the government of Albanian United Kingdom represented by Shefqet Vërlaci, ENIC takes over for a period of five years the exclusivity of displaying films in Albania.
- 30 September 1942 - recommended directly by the Cont Ciano and Benito Mussolini, was created in Albania Tomorri Society, which as a company of state production aimed at creating films.1942.The first documentary by an Albanian film maker.
- September ‘43 - November ‘44 - Nazi control of cinema halls.
- 1944 – 1945 - Albanian amateur camera fixed the new history.
- 22 December 1945 - Another state control. It decrees the law 186 which decided “The state Monopoly for acquisitions, imports and distribution of movies in Albania”.
- 24 December 1945 - Foundation of “Albanian Agency of Film”.
- 9 April 1947 - Based on the decision nr.160 of Minister’s Council, it’s approved the decree nr.314, law 422 “About the nationalization of private cinemas”.
- 10 April 1947 - Based on the decision 163 of Minister’s Council, also based on the decree-law nr.418 dated March 22, 1947 it’s decided the foundation of “Albanian Cinematographic Enterprise”. April 1947. It’s proclaimed with decree nr.308 Enterprise of General National Importance.
- 10 July 1952 - Inauguration of Film Studio “Shqipëria e re”.
- 1984 - The highest number of state production-18 features of Kino- studio and TV.
- 1992 - The first private production. Film studio “Shqipëria e re” became Alba Film Studio.
- 1996 - The low for the cinema guaranties private film production.
- 1 April 1997 - Birth of Albanian Central State Film Archive.
