This is made possible due to the 4 years of collaboration between CSFA and Historic Archive of LUCE, initiated by former director of CSFA Mrs. Natasha Lako and Mr. Roland Sejko, coordinator of LUCE Institute, also supported by former director of CSFA Mr. Ilia Xhokaxhiu and the actual director Mr. Artan Minarolli.
Actually, 382 selected titles from the Albanian documentaries are part of the online Archive. The project is in its course and other Albanian documentaries and newsreels will be soon part of it, productions of the period 1945 1996, from the beginnings of the cinematography in Albania till the first years of democracy.
The aim of this project is to bring the Archive near to the researchers, students, film makers and film lovers, so they can make easy access to our film collection.
The online Archive is divided into six categories according to the year of production; the 40-ies, the 50-ies, 60-ies, 70-ies, 80-ies and the 90-ies. Also is possible to search films by key words at the search window. Every material is accompanied by a detailed description, cast and credits.
The film material is digitalized in low resolution and every sequence is accompanied with the logo of CSFA, protecting it from possible downloading.
In case of requests for acquiring images you must contact the offices of CSFA for the procedures ad tariffs.
